I couldn't resist the last photo....

Finally put a wreath on my door this afternoon!

I just love looking at the pretty pictures....

Festive moments

Our online shop now has a very festive feel about it!
Do pay a visit if you would like ~ there are some unique present ideas all for the taking..

We went to decorate one of our favourite pubs  last weekend!
One rather fabulous Christmas wreath went on the front door as well as gorgeous spruce garlands on the fireplaces ~ if your in there do let us know what you think?

A Sunday treat was going to the Artisan Market in Frome last weekend. It's an absolutely fantastic event, if your a food fan then you need to go!

The final festive delight was doing a wreath making workshop at Newton St loe Farm-shop.
11 delightful ladies created some fabulous wreaths! If your near Newton do pop in as they are a very friendly bunch down there (you can also get our flowers there now!!)

Much love to you, I'm off in search of Christmas cards!

Proud as punch!

Well it's been quite a week, we got the results back from the National Wedding Industry awards and unfortunately we didn't make it to the national stage BUT......

We got some of the feedback from our Brides who had voted and quite frankly we are pleased as punch!

Laura was extremely helpful in guiding us through the process of choosing flowers, colours and different arrangement styles. Laura is very friendly and always responded to my (many!) e-mails extremely efficiently. We were blown away by how lovely the flowers we on our wedding day -they were perfect.

Young Blooms kept up with my ever changing demands with patience & courtesy! Grace was very helpful and friendly! On the day flowers were delivered at the exact time requested in fresh pristine condition! The button holes and bouquets were gorgeous the gift bouquets and table flowers were stunning!

I was absolutely delighted with the bouquets and table centres young blooms produced. They were like works of art. I gave a brief and selected the flowers I wanted, and they brought my ideas to life looking even better than I had imagined them to be. Their use of colour was beautiful- just perfect!

Young blooms were brilliant, they were very friendly and very prompt with their emails and communication which is a god sent for an over excitable impatient bride! The flowers provided were outstanding, I received so many complimentary comments from our guests, they were very organised.

I could go on but our heads might explode, but we do just want to say how proud we are and pleased that we were regionally short-listed for such a delightful award and we are very much looking forward to next year.....

Flowers we love...

This has got to be a perfect time to post this summery wedding, when the wind is howling outside and there seems to be far too much flooding around. So sit back and enjoy these rather fabulous photos of a truly delicious wedding....

I think these photos pretty much sum up the day, this was ONE of the sunny days in the summer and a truly fabulous one at that. James & Christie got married outside and it was glorious. I remember having a conversation with one of the staff at Homewood about what would happen if the heavens opened.... With a twinkle in his eye he very calmly said "It won't" and how right he was.

Christie had a great eye for detail and had sourced a fabulous selection of bottles and jam-jars for the tables. We used a selection of pale pink sweet avalanche roses, blousey peonies, pale blue scabious and a whole host of other delightful flowers to create that cottage garden effect. With jars nestling on piles of books and birdcages spilling out with flowers on to tables, the effect was gorgeous.

I had to include a picture of the cupcakes cause they were sumptuous  Piled high, they looked like jewels ready to pick. Made by this delightful company, I would highly recommend having a gander at their website.

Many thanks the fabulous Helen Cawte for letting us use these glorious photos.

Much love to you all

Buttonhole lovelies

Couldn't really resist sharing these photo's with you.
Though you can blame this rather marvellous photographer for sending me some of these.

Are you making your partner wear a pink one?
Have had some comedy moments where the Groom is adamant a pink buttonhole is going no where near his suit!
Seriously, do they not know whose in charge?

One of these beauty's will be featured in this magazine. *excited*

Anyway, I'm off to the pub (it's warmer than our house)
What are you up to?
