A truly floral weekend

Heavenly cupcakes by Mrs B
Elegant table flowers for Limpley Stoke Hotel
Gorgeous reception at Bishopstrow House Hotel
Peach flowers are the colour of the season
A perfect door wreath to welcome guests in

It's been a bit of a scrumptious weekend really, we've had some lovely thank-you notes from our couples which always makes our day.

"Dear Grace and Laura
I just want to quickly say before we head off on honeymoon how absolutely delighted we were with the flowers on Sunday. They were AMAZING and everyone commented on them and we of course told them about Young Blooms! We thought they were so beautiful and we are still enjoying them now as the house is adorned with the gorgeous arrangements."
Sarah & Mike

This couple had the very elegant pink orchids & that fabulous door wreath to welcome their guests in.

This lovely note winged its way through from twitter as well {if you'd like to follow us we are @youngblooms}

"Thank-you so much! The flowers were stunning :) could not have asked for better!!xxx"
Melanie

Doesn't really get better than that does it!

Mix and match

Hand-ties of flowers in mason jars really do give a relaxed feel. {photo taken by Olivier Burnside at Kilver Court}

Vivid colour and fabulous scent.

A lovely wedding at the Fat Fowl in Bradford-on-Avon

Always fabulous to be doing weddings at Wick Farm near Bath

Table-centres for a wedding at Bailbrook Hotel

Orchids really do ooze elegance I think.

This is a whistle stop tour through quite a few weddings over the last couple of months, as you will have realised from my silence it's been a busy wedding season so far!

Which is your favourite one? We talking the other day about favourite flowers and I can never really begin to answer the question. Doesn't your choice of flowers so often depend on your mood?

I have a rather demanding cat this evening whose trying to stop me typing by sitting on my laptop so I'm going to have love you and leave you and finish my wine instead.

Kilver court

These are just some of the pictures taken by Olivier Burnside from a photo-shoot that we were involved in at Kilver Court recently. It's a really rather fabulous venue with some stunning scenery. The directors room is perfect for the ceremony with big double fronted windows overlooking the gardens, creating almost twice the space. I believe it seats 60 and is a gorgeously intimate venue for a wedding ceremony.

You will see from the top that we had great fun decorating the boat for the picture, that was taken just in front of the dovecote. We are doing a wedding for a gorgeous couple there in a few weeks so you will have to wait for the photo's.

All in all it's a really rather lovely space, though quite frankly I'd just take the car.

Much love.

xx

Ps The dresses were by a very clever lady called Meryl Smart
